AL T LCTK UNDER U.S. GOVERNMENT SUPERVISION Last Thursday evening Hyrum Jones, LeRoy Roskelley and Gerrit Fort Jr., featured in a collision in Ogden that was miraculous in that they came out alive. The party had been down to the Junction city in the Jones auto and were on the way home, going at the rate of fifty miles an hour according to the report of pedestrians who saw the accident. Driving along on Washington Avenue was Farmer Barrett of North Ogden and his young son, each driving an empty hay rack, the young man following his father when the auto party crashed into the rear of his wagon full force head on, the impact splintering the hay rack and throwing the young man forward over his team and. onto the hard pavement with such force that he was rendered unconscious. The auto party went flying out of the machine alighting on the hard pavement also with the result that Jones and Roskelley were rendered unconscious and Fort escaped with very slight bruises. All three injured young men were rushed to the hospital and for a time the condition of young Barrett was very serious. The others, were badly cut about the face and head and otherwise bruised but not seriously inured. Young Barrett is now considered out of danger and progressing favorably.
