JOSEPH F. HANSEN. Born in this city 33 years ago, his parents being pioneers to this city and are now its oldest residents. Finished high school and two years at Agricultural College and in 1899 began a course of dentistry in the Chicago College of Dental Surgery. Took two years and through a temporary permit to practice, opened up business in the Knudson Building in May of 1901, continuing to practice until September, 1902. when he return- ed to Chicago and completed his studies, graduating in May, 1903. Since that time his practice has been continuous. Jeppson was born and raised in Brigham City, receiving his education from Box Elder Stake Academy, Agricultural College, University of Utah and Alumni of Northwestern University Medical School. He was the second boy from Brigham to get his degree of doctor of medicine. He taught school in Box Elder County for six years, three of them in Brigham City. Doctor Jeppson took special work diseases of children and internal medicine. TIis surgical training was from John B. Murphy, one of in Obstetrics, the greatest surgeons in the United States. Kackett was born in Illinois, Nov. 22. 1841, and came to Brigham City in 1873. As a contractor and builder he has built many blocks in Brigham as well as dwellings and school houses throughout the county.
