A The remittitur from the Supreme Court in the case of Lars Peter vs. the Oregon Short Line Railroad company was filed in the Clerk's office yesterday. J. D Call, the attorney for the plaintiff will receive the voucher for the judgment, 2500., within the next few days. It will be remembered that the plaintiff's son, Alma, was killed by a special train wbicb was running at the rate of about sixty miles an hour and which was making a trial run from Mccammon to Ogden. The case was bitterly contested and the plaintiff and bis attorney are to be congratulated on having the decision affirmed by the Supreme Court of the State. Cbrts-tense- n Young People of Brigham City Enter Mar- ried Life. Nels L. Nelsen, at present acting as Chef at Rouirbcore's and Miss Emma Wilde, slep daughter of Mrs. Sarah Wilde of the Fourth ward, were united in marriage Tuesday evening at the brides home, the ceremony being performed by Bp. Thomas H Blackburn. This was the bishop's maiden effort in the capacity of master of ceremonies at a wedding. We extend congratulations to the young couple. . Miss Edna Jensen and Mr. Robert L. Harlan were married last night in Ogden. Miss Jensen is the daughter of Mrs. Elias Jensen of the second ward, this city, and is a very popular girl Her lame circle of friends will miss her. She gave life and cheer to social gatherings and was energetic in Ixith work and play. Mr. Harlan is a conductor on the S. P. Railroad and quite well known here. May their wedded life be long and happy. Miss Anna Korth, and Mr. Mac Robinette were united in marriage last evening by Elder Oleen N. Stobl, at the home of the brides sister, Mrs. James Jr. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Korth who reside about , three miles north of this city on the North String, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Robinette of the Third ward. Mr. Robinettes father was at one time Marshal in this city and js now in California. We trust hat the young couple sense the great responsibility that they have taken upon themselves and we wish to extend congratulations and best wishes.
