The date may be changed from that heretofore announced as the strawberry season U apt to be later than usual, but there is going to be an enjoyable time during the week the festival takes place. There will be four days of merriment during which our visi tors will be served with our choicest berries and most delicious cream by our prettiest maidens and if this announcement doesnt attract the whole state here at that time well it ought to, and those who stay away will always regret it. Committees have been appointed and the preparations for this event will be pushed from now on and everything possible will be done to insure its success. It means much to this city and every citizen should be willing to aid in making it a sucess. Ours is a fruit growing community and we must let the country know this fact and that we are growing fruit superior to other places. No better plan can be adopted 'to do this than to induce them to come here and see and taste it. Later on we should give them a GOOD SPIRITS. Good spirits dont all come from Ken- tucky.
