Among them is a note for a penny, which was issued by mistake and bought back by the bank for $25. Another is a note for a million pounds. A third is a banknote, which was found inside a codfish caught oil the Newfoundland banks, and a fourth is a note which was in circulation tor over a century and a half before it was presented for payment. There are many forged notes in the museum, their value aggregating many millions of dollars, and there are also some notes which were recovered by divers from the sunken wreck of the British warship Eurydtce.
