Struck by an Alma Christensen Fngine While Trying to Save Hi Cow. Little In an effort to head off u cow from running on the track and getting killed, little Alma Christensen ran in fiont of an engine last Saturday afternoon and was struck on the back of his head by the pilot beam and Instantly killed. One cow had btarted to cross the track and was struck by the engine and thrown over a hundred feet. The train stopped a short distance away and the crew went to the boys but he was dead when they reached him. The accident was witnessed by William ICoudson, working in his oici urd near by, and by a number of people waiting at the depot for the regular passenger train.
