Dean, secretary of the 'North Ogden Irrigation Co., was in Brigham Tuesday and stated that the prospects were very encouraging for the reservoir proposition in Ogden canyon. A number of other irrigation companies in Weber county are interested in this Bcheme and the site is splendid one for this purpose. It is expected that water can be furnished subscribers in this county from 910 to 915 per acre, with reasonable annual charges for keeping the canal and reservoir repaired. Should this be true, there should be no trouble in raising the 3000 acres required below Willard in this county. The land there is some of the best in the state and only needs the water to make homes there for many more peo- J A pie than they have at present. committee has been appointed to see the property owners in that section and other committees are at work in Weber county.
