Honored Dead- - Nowhere else in Utah, perhaps, is the spirit of Decoration day more propeily observed than in Brigham city. Elsewhere the day seems to have been given over more or less to revelry or sports a holiday in which only amusements are sought after with but li ttle thought given to the purposes for which this day was set apart. Happily such is not the custom in Brigham city.' From early morning up to the hour of noon the city cemetery was thronged with people, old and young, who came there laden with flowers and ferns to decorate the last resting place of some loved one. It was an impressive sight, the reverence shown for the dead, and there were none who took part therein that were not made happier and better for so doing. It is estimated that there were over one thousand visitors to the cemetery during the day. President Kelly, in behalf of stake presidency, thanked all who taken part, especially mentioning Military band. At the close of the exercises the had the Extending the Mains.
