Ode- Within (he l.lmll of American Am-erican I'ork City. ll It Ordained by tho Major and Cltj Council of American Fork City Section I Speed In lie lea-iniablc nnd safe No person shall operate a motor vehicle or motorcycle upon nnj public street or highway within American Am-erican Fork City at a speed greater than Is rcnsoiiuble ami safe having due regard for width, grade, character, charac-ter, trnfllo and common usu of such street or highway, or so as to endanger en-danger life,' limb or p-operty lu any respect whatever. Section II rpon approaching any hrldgo, dam, sharp curve, or descent the operator of a motor vehicle or motorcycle shall at all limes have Ihe vehicle under Immediate control. Section Ml- I'pon approaching or pausing any person walking In Hie roadway or I raveled poiilon of -my I public street or hlghwoj', or niiy horse orother draft nnlmal being led, ridden or dihen thereon, or upon an bridge, or crossing at an Intersection of public pub-lic streets or highways, tho operator or a motor vehicle or motorcyulo shall at nil times hnvo tho sumo under un-der Immediate conticl And If such animal shall appear to bo frightened, or If Ilia porson in charge tlicrcor, shall signal liy raising his hand or calling, the operator shall Immediately Immedi-ately stop his vehicle. Section IV No person operating a motor vehlclo or motorcycle upon a public- street or hlghwny In Ibis city, shall drive the s.uno past any street car liitcrurban or other passenger train whllo the same Is standing still for tho purpose of taking on or letting let-ting off passengers to or from such train or car. Section V -Whenever any operator of a motor vehlclo or motorcyclo shall i meet on a public street or highway i within said city, any person or persons per-sons riding or driving one or more horses or other draft nnlmnl or any other vehlclo npproachlng in tho opposite op-posite direction, tho operator shall turn his vehlclo to tho light, hd as to give oue-hnlf of the traveled road-waj road-waj If practicable, ami a fair opportunity oppor-tunity to the, other to pass by, without with-out unnecessary Interference; and If traveling In thu siiinn direction, he shall pnss to the left side of the person per-son or vehicle overtaken, and tho person per-son or vehlclo shall give him a fair importunity to pass. Section VI Tho operator or a motor mo-tor vehlclo or motorcjelo In motion on niiy public street or highway, shall give due and timely warning by using us-ing his slgnnl apparatus to every person per-son riding or driving any horse or horses or other vehicle which ho muy meet or approach, and ho shall likewise like-wise give due warning nnd reduce speed upon approaching any shnrp curve or other dangerous place upon such street or hlglivvaj'.
