The principal ladies parts will be carried by Jennie Mae Olsen, Katie Ludlow and Hannah Larsen. Jennie was selected as the Lady Frieda. With a beautiful voice and a lot of experience, Jennie Mae Is going to put this part over In a way that will make every member of the cast and the audience Jealous of Prince Fritz. Katie Ludlow as the Witch has a part that gives her ample chance to display her very fine voice. Katie Is a singer of experience and will handle her part In very fine shape. Hannah Larsen is by no means new In opera work, having taken a leading part in three previous high school operas. Hannah has a part this year that fits her to a T. She can show her splendid voice to advantage In two very high class solos, and with her acting the cast is not worrying about the Lady Carlotta. Though these parts are considered leading parts, they are hardly more Important than those carried by the other members of the cast. One could mention most any other part and call it the most important part, so evenly are the parts arranged. To say anything about costuming now is perhaps out of place, but to give an Idea of whats coming, lets mention that we are to see lords and ladles, water maidens, goose girls, nursemaids, apprentices. huntsmen, nymphs, soldiers and Bird Kinder. The opera will be produced Feb Lynn McKell, four years old son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Dewey. McKell of Iayson, died last Thursday after an Illness of about three months, although he was seriously ill onl a few days. Funeral services were held at the Payson Second ward meeting house last Sunday at 12 oclock. The speakers were J. A. Lewis of Payson, and President Fid. M. Rowe.
