Thanksgiving day dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Swnin and family, Jeffrey and M-ichael, were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Swain of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ren Adderley and children, Renee, Robert and Robyn were Thanksgiving day dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Adder-le- y' sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morris and family of K.aysville. Mrs. Thomas Sadler held a er party at her home Tues-day evening. Those attending were Mrs. Nada Throckmorton, Mrs. Cay Downs, Beverly Wright, Beverly Ray, Edith DeCol, Mrs. Joyce Shults, Mrs. Vera Peterson, Mrs. Peggy Ray, Bobbie Lee Johnson, Joan Cowdell, Barbara Brown and Mr. Sally Chapman. Light refresh-ments were served and a fun time was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Poulsen and girls, Glenda, Paula and Shirleen were Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Keith Poulsen and children of Midvale. Mrs. Ernest Prigmore left Nov. 20 to spend the Thanksgiving holi-days with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Prigmore and child-ren, Danny, Johnny and Michael of Westminster, Calif. She expects to be gone two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Don Nielsen and Mrs. Maggie Peck visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bell and family of Sandy. Later in the even-ing they all visited with Mr. and Mrs. Hebe Colten of Murray. Friends and family calling Mon-day afternoon and evening to wish Mrs. Elwood Sorensen of West Jordan a Happy Birthday were Mr. and Mrs. David Dimmick and fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Hunt L. Nielson of Bingham, Mr. and Mr. Peter Nielsen and family of Riverton and Mrs. Eunice Rae Collings and fam-ily of Murray. New address of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Apostol, who formerly re-sided at 124 Main St., is 70 Birch Street, in MidvaJe. Ruth Rcbekah Lodge No. 7 will hold their next regular meeting Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Joe Dispenza in Sandy. Aviation Cadet William A. Fike Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike Sr. of Copperton, has been assigned to James Connally Af B, Waco, Tex. for undergraduate navigator train-ing. Cadet Fike, a 1958 graduate of Bingham 1 ligh School, studied mechanical engineering at the Uni-versity of Utah from September 1958 to June 1961. He enlisted in the aviation cadets from civilian status in November 1961. Cadets in the navigator program receive basic, radar and celestial navigation training in 9 aircraft, the Air Force "flying classroom." Students are awarded navigator wings and commissioned second lieutenants upon completing 38 weeks of train-ing at James Connally AFB. They are assigned for advanced training to man positions in Strategic Air Command, Tactical Command, or as operational navigators with Ma-teriel Air Transport Service. James Connally, an Air Training Com-mand baae, trains personnel for America's expanding aerospace force. Carol Nielson PR Reporter OPEN HOUSE TO HONOR NEWLYWEDS Miss S!iaron Naylor became the bride of Kent G. Bateman Saturday evening, Nov. 18, in marriage rites performed by Bishop Orion New-bol- d at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert G. Naylor, South Jordan. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Dean W. Bateman, West Jordan. Present besides the two families were Miss Joy DeCraffenried, Mrs. Orion Newbold, and the two grand-mothers, Mrs. Carolyn Wallace, Salt Lake, and Mrs. P. T. Bateman, West Jordan. The newlyweds will be honored with an open house Saturday even-ing, Dec. 2, in South Jordan School auditorium given by the bride's parents. The bride is a junior at Bingham High School and Mr. Bateman is attending the University of Utah. The couple plan to make their home in Sandy for the pres-ent. TEENAGE CLUB Marv Jenson' Teenage Club is holding their usual Saturday night dance tomorrow night, Saturday, Dec. 2 at Marv's gym in West Jor-dan from 8 to I I p.m. Ray Ulibarri disc jockey will be on hand to play records. Boys not wearing suit coats, vests or sport coats will not be admitted. Entertainment at last Saturday night's dance was furnished by a combo orchestra, 'The Enchanters." Bentley and children of Bing-ham and Mr. and Mrs. Orley Bills nnd children of Midvale spent Thanksgiving day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Padgen and family of Midvale.
