Former United State Senator Fred T. With no more moisture the crops will mature with an average of around fifteen bushels of wheat to the acre. It Is predicted, although good rain will add from five to ten bushels to tha yield per acra Ground properly prepared by aummer fallowing or fall plowing la showing up well. Some fields will yield aa high -- as forty to fifty bushels on dry land. This grain Is headed out and harvesting will start next week.
