When the officers entered the room they found Roberts tn an ugly mood and he is said to have put up a fight, which was very brief, as the officers soon emerged from the room With Roberta in handcuffs. Roberts was taken to the station, where he was booked upon the charge of drunk' enness, disturbing the peace, destroying property and resisting arrest. He was held without bond pending a hearing in the city court tomorrow morning. Maude Roberts when questioned by the officers, said she and her father recently came to Ogden after having visited a number of cities In the United States and Canada. She was Unable to give any explanation of a number of bruises upon her face and the officers are under the opinion- that she was mistreated by her father.
