Hume, proprietor of tfi Ogden Employment, office, returned to Ogden this morning from Great Pans, Mont, phsre he had beep called, with Mrs. Hume, to attend the funeral of a son who was supposed to be dead, a plot at kidnaping the daughter of the couple waa believed by Hume to have ' been frustrated. The Humes arrived In Great Fails to find that their son was alive and la good ' health. Mr. Hum said that when he strived in Great Fails and found that he had been misinformed and hts son was olive, he went to the telegraph office to identify the sender of the "fake" message. The telegraph offloe clerk declared a woman, a stranger in the city, sent the mes-r- e. The sender ef the second message to Hume telling him of the funeral arrangements for his son was a man.
