Since the Salt Sake Liberals concluded to drive their own team on the 4th, they have gone about it in earnest. Twro or three thousand dollars were raised the other day without an effort, to meet the expense. Delegations from every mining camp are expected in the city to take part in the ceremonies of the occasion, and Corinne is especially called on to help get up steam. We think it no more than fair that Corinne should respond freely to the cordial invitation of our brethren in Zion. They have done as much for us on several occasions. We assume that there is to be no formal celebration here, and that the Salt Lake Navigation Company will extend the usual facilities in the shape of a special trip tickets at about half price. Thus the tour of Salt Lake may be made, and two birds killed with the same stone. We hope our people will exhibit iu this instance that public spirit for which they, are justly noted.
