Thompson faces a charge of wls abandonment, a warrant for his arrest having been sworn to by his pretty younp wife after she had complained to Sherlfl J. B. Webber. Thompson is 3 years of ag and alleged to ha vs abandoned his wif for Miss Simmons when his Infant was but two weeks old. Miss Simmons Is 23 years of age and a student of stats normal school. Both families are piomlnenL According to the Votlce, Mr. Thomnsoi accuse her husband of obtaining jt.iF0 of her money by fraud. Sh charges that h told her ns needed 1300 to ths cass" of a friend arrested for "qi)ar violating a prohibition law.
