The course will involve all aspects of B&W photography, from compositional theory and practice to the technical realm of film and exclusively. Huckos B&W work ranges from creative documentary work done in 35mm and 120mm formats to large format fine art prints that are landscape oriented. of Hucko is also the Voices of Youth, a photo and radio project for youth now in its 5th year at Grand County High School. His work is seen locally at Eddie McStifFs Restaurant and he is represented at the Overlook Gallery and in SLC at Phillips Gallery. Hucko is a thoughtful and g teacher who caters to students personal needs. Basic curriculum will include topics of basic camera functions and relationships, making a good negative, light and metering, film processing and controls, basic printing skills and composition. Each participant will be challenged to get beyond the arches and make print processing. This course is designed for the adult student who is ready to explore the fun and art of B&W photography. B&W allows for a diverse range of expression, says Hucko, This course is designed to provide participants with the creative and technical tools needed to explore and arrive at their own creative vision.
