CENTENNIAL PARK Centennial Park is located near the South Gate and is available to rent for picnics. There are three pavilions. THE LOG CABIN on base is available to rent for parties, weddings, receptions, reunions, squadron functions, etc. FISHING POND Children under the age of 18 can fish in the pond by the Log Cabin. Buy season licenses for $5. Or a day pass for $1 at Outdoor Recreation, Bldg. 524. FAMILY CAMP: Rates are just $10 per night and include electricity. It has a new restroom, shower, laundry facility. All DoD employees and retirees are eligible to use the Family Camp sites. Johnson, Utah is an old GhostTown from the 1870s and was used for making movies., It is located in Kane County, close to Kanab. Tt is said the Aztec had hidden a cache of gold inside a treasure chamber close to the town. Enjoy camping and good food! Go with us and check out some local history. LAKE POWELL HOUSEBOAT TRIP: Oct. 5-Enjoy spending three days and three nights aboard a 52 foot houseboat. There will be water skiing and jet skis and great food. PAIUTE TRAIL ATV RIDE: Sept. 22-2Travel part of the 250 mile Paiute Trail on an ATV. The section that we plan on traveling will be a scenic part of the Fremont Indian State Park.Meals provided are Friday- - dinner, Saturday- breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday break-fast. OAP provides transportation, ATV, helmet, for ATV, meals and trip leader. Cost is gas $120 per person. Minimum of 4 people, maximum of 6 people. Only one rider per ATV.
