Beginning in January the school will move from a seven week to a five week format. As part of the process of modifying the curriculum, SOS benchmarked its proe program against those of fessional military education schools, as well as numerous civilian leadership and problem-solvin- g programs. "The information gleaned from these benchmarking efforts, combined with the school's own historical data and an analysis of the needs of today's company grade officer, has resulted in a more tightly focused and contemporary curriculum," an Air Force official said.
