Show Youth Activities It is an excellent tool to build leadership, friendships, problem solving skills and to have a great time. TEEN WORKOUT: Every Tuesday and P.M. at the Westside Wednesday, Fitness Center. Meet at the Youth Center at 6:50 p.m. and we will drive. This activity is offered on a trial basis. A minimum of six teens and a maximum of 13 must sign up two days prior. For more information call Ext WEDNESDAY: Kids in the Kitchen, 4 p.m. Teen workout, p.m. KIDS IN THE KITCHEN: This activity is for kids ages It will be held every 4 at Wednesday p.m., the cost is $1 per class. Closed Sundays and holidays. 3-- OUTSIDE TRIPS: For staffing purposes sign up for field trips that are outside the Youth Center, 24 hours before the trip is scheduled. Payment and permission slips are required at the time of sign up. TODAY: Crafty Kids, 4 p.m Power Hour, 5 p.m. For all ages. Use this time to study and get some homework done. CRAFTY KIDS: This activity is for kids ages who are interested in learning more about arts and crafts. It will be held every Thursday at 4 p.m. The cost is $1 per class. Sign up by the Tuesday prior. Six children minimum and 12 children maximum. FRIDAY: Hockey game at the E Center, 1 p.m. Roller skating, 8 p.m. Cost is $1 and for members and.$2 for 50 cent skate rental. HOCKEY GAME: Grizzlies vs Kansas City at the E Center in Salt Lake city, 1 p.m. Cost is $19 per person and includes ticket and transportation. Please bring extra money for food or snacks. Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Please sign up and complete a parental permission slip 24 hours prior. SATURDAY: Roller skating 1:30-3:3- 0 p.m. 2 2. 5.-1- 6-- non-membe- Family ski day, 8:30 a.m.-- 5 rs mum. COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER SERVICES: Every fourth and fifth Tuesdays of the month at 5 p.m. Make a positive difference in your community by volunteering. Locations will be chosen at preteen and teen council meetings. GIVE PARENTS A BREAK: Child care is offered at the Child Development Center for kids ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and at the Youth Center for kids ages 6 to 13 years. It will be held on the third Saturday of each month with alternating times. This program is for active duty only and requires a referral and three days advance reg- p.m. Give par- ents a break scheduled for today. FAMILY SKI DAY: Powder Mountain from 8:30 a.m.-- 5 p.m. This family trip is in conjunction with the Thornton Community Center. Cost is $26.25 per adult and $17 per child ages 12 and under. It includes lift ticket and transportation. Ski rental is available at Outdoor Recreation for $7 per adult and $6 per child. This trip is open to all ages. An adult must accompany kids under age 9. A minimum of eight participants must sign up for this trip.
