The meeting was conducted by President Valerie Newland. The group had a final report on their Melon Day activities, made plans for an upcoming yard and bake sale which will be held on October 13th at the Melon Vine Parking lot 9 a.m. Plans were also made for their Community Christmas Fair which will be held on Dec. 1, 1990. Guests for the evening were Nancy Adamson and Mona Vetere. Cohostess was DecAnn Meadows. Trial was set for OcE 24. .Leroy T. The committee has scheduled the meeting to obtain guidance from the public regarding recreation use of the Public Lands near Moab. Seventh Circuit Court has been in session in Grand County with Judge Bruce K. Halliday presiding. Jose Mercado appealed Sept 25 and pled guilty to charges of in- toxication and open intoxicants. He was sentenced to pay $105 and serve ten days, with jail sentenced suspended on payment within 15 days. Juarez Jose Lopez appeared and pled guilty to a charge of driving under the influence of gs (DUI). He was sentenced to pay $660 and serve 66 days in the county jail, suspended if the fine is paid in 45 days. Bryan A. Knight appeared and a diversion agreement was signed on a charge of assaultdomestic violence.
