Their mother, Darla Jean, added to the family, the 14th, a pair of twin daughters, Susie Jean, and' Marlene. to Funeral services were held Friday at the San Juan Mortuary in Blanding for Robert Richard Davis, 58, whf passed away Monday at the Moab hospital following a dhort illness. Bob was bom June 22, 1922 and married Valera Black of Monticello Dec. 3, 1941.' They have three sons, Robert Darrell of Blanding, ' Bill, of Aztex, New Mexico, of and Glen, Evanston, Wy. He has been a miner most of his life in Sim Juan County moving to Hanksville some 15 years ago to continue his profession. His mother, Mrs. Estella Davis, a brother Elbert and a sister, Catherine reside in Olympia, Washington, a brother David, lives in Silver Springs, Nevada and a brother Ronald resides in Blanding. Services were held at 10 a.m. and burial was in Blanding. At the time of his death he was employed by Hunts Excavation. Bob and Valera had just returned from a trip to to visit his Washington mother and family members when he became ill and was rushed to the Moab hospital by his wife and Carl Hunt.
