Utah State Training School pleased with federal review The Training School is to be commended for the tremendous progress, structure and control they have developed to meet client needs. according to a four member survey team from the Denver Regional Office of Health Care Finance. The team was in Utah to evaluate the Utah State Training School for licensing. Areas which were evaluated included nursing, psychology, social and active treatment. The Training School came under Federal scrutiny last year and was threatened with After a plea from Governor Banger-ter- , the state was given one year to bring the school into compliance. Jerry Dandoy, Training . orlrailure Monica Holyoak, 16, daughter of Ron and Katherine Holyoak is among the candidates to compete in the Miss Teen of Utah Pageant this 1987. weekend, June Monica will be judged on service and achievement to school and community, scholastic record, and' personal development. While at the present, she will also be judged on her general awareness, her poise and personality in formal wear, and on a judges interview. The pageant finals will be held at 6:30 p.m. June 27, in the Grand Ballroom at the Ogden Hilton. Monica invites anyone wishing to attend to come. Monica maintained a 3.94 during the past school year, and will be a member of the Academic Club at the high school this fall. She participated in Future Homemakers of America and was a member of the National Honor Society. She will Amy Hawks joined the group and enjoyed visiting with their School Superintendent, is to be commended. Judy received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1980, her Certificate of Public Accounting in 1984 and was awarded her Master of Business Administration from, the University of Utah on June 12, 1987. Judy is the Manager, Accounting Services for the Salt Lake City Division of the U.S. Postal Service. Bea went to the ceremony with Judys husband, Frank, and daughter, Marissa. On Saturday, family and friends gathered for a combined graduation celebration for Judy and seventeenth birthday party for Marissa. A fine time was had by all.
