"We were ready!" said Lehi Coach Laural Webber. "Ever since that game the lose to Union two weeks ago, we have played very well." It didn't take long for the Pioneers to prove their point. Cynthia Schneider came out with two kills and an ace to give the Pioneers a 3lead. Jana Fullmer then pounded a side out and dropped in an ace.
