He has presented the show around Utah County and feels it is a spiritual calling for him. The program offers insights into the prophet's te ancestry as well as his personal history. According to Myers, he is not only the same age as Smith was at his martyrdom, but also has the same, height, weight, hair and eye color. '"I will touch on some that insights many people would not know unless they had studied him," Myers said. Students to present plays Graduate students of the Theand Film Department at Bngham Young University will offer two productions in the Nelke Experimental Theatre this month atre that look at marriage. The plays, called "The Problem" and "Luv," will be Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m. and Dec. 7 and 8 at 5 p.m. Admission at the door will be $2: "The Problem" is a one-aplay written by A.R. Gurney, Jr. His play examines the crazed marital relationship of a husband and wife, portrayed by drama professor ct Robert Nelson and his wife, Char Nelson. The couple finds pleasure in confessing their intimate secrets of the past. Graduate student Dana Keiter directs. BYU between two college roommates. Harry Berlin, played by David Gonzalez, is contemplating suicide, but his attempt is thwarted by his old friend Milt Manville portrayed by Vinnie Lawrence, who convinces him to marry. The fun begins when the woman Milt suggests as a suitable match for Harry is Milt's own wife, Ellen, played by Colleen Lewis. The play was a Broadway hit in the 960s and rejected the somber overtones of the avant garde theater of the time and substituted outrageous comedy. Jeb Branin, also a graduate student, directs. 1 gallery hosts exhibits Brigham Young University's Bent F. Larson Gallery will feature a student and faculty exhibit, as well as an exhibit featuring Utah Valley artists during December. Both exhibits are free and open to the public. The Bent K Larson Gallery, located in BYU's Harris Fine Arts Center, is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The first exhibit, "Rolling Up Our Sleeves," is a suite of 25-pri- nt original, intaglio, relief and lithographic prints. Marcus; Vincent, director of BYU's ViSAial Arts gallery program, says iKeexhibit is a combination of student and faculty work as well as hand-struc- k, collaborations both between groups. "Each, current printmaking student was required to produce his or her own edition and also to collaborate with and print for a member of the studio faculty," says Vincent. "Each print is consistent with each artist's style, but the goal of the show is a collaborative effort." The show runs through Dec. .
