An open house is planned for Sunday, Sept. 26 at Conrad's Ranch in South Fork Canyon. The children of Archie R. "Dick" and Darlene Keele Atwood will honor their parents at an open house to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The event is planned for Saturday Sept. 25, 4 p.m. at the Bella Via Reception Center, 5 19 N. Main, Spanish Fork. Lloyd and Nadine Rasmussen were hosted at a surprise family celebration, given by their children, to fete their 50th wedding anniversary. The event was at The Roof Restaurant in the Joseph Memorial Building in Salt Lake City. They were married Aug. 23, 1943 in Oakland, Calif. Their mar- Lloyd worked as an accountant at Geneva Steel for 38 years. He retired in 1985. Dick and Darlene were married Sept. 8, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS riage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in California three years while Verl served in the Coast Guard during World War n. They then returned to Provo ater the war to make their home.
