' ' - ' : yf - Jf 6 "' -- The Mountain View OREM High School Drama Department recaptured its 10th consecutive March drama championship gion 31, at the Region Tournament in Orem. Mountain View took first place with team score of 458 points. Second went to Timpview High School iih 406, third to American Fork with 348, fourth to Provo with 298, with Pleasant Grove taking fifth and Orem High School sixth place. Mountain View High School qualified a full slate of competitors to the State 4A Drama Tournament the second week of April in Salt Lake City. Mountain View also took several Outstanding Novice Competitor Awards; Ginger Jensen in Dramatic Interpretation, Karissa Hall, Andrew Crawford and Kirk Madsen in Pantomime, and Traci Brewster in Monoact- - LINDON Because this year celebrates the IDS Church Relief Society being 150 years old, the Valley Center Playhouse will offer six perfornances of "Portrait of Emma." Friday, Saturdav, Monday and April 17,18, 20. "Portrait of Emma" will be performed by Jody Renstrom. The show deals with the life of Emma Hale Smith, wife of the Prophet Joseph Smith. This drama takes Emma from early childhood to the grieving young widow of the martyred Prophet.
