That evening from 9 they will be honored by their children with an open house at the Sr. Citizens Center, 54 E. Main, American Fork. Friends and relatives are welcome. They request no gifts. They were married in the Salt Lake IDS Temple on Sept. 25, 1940. Ersel served an LDS mission to the Central States. He served with the 80th Infantry Division during World War II. He has been Jaycee 6-- President, receiving the Distinguished Service Award in 1946. He is vice president of American Fork's Senior Citizens. He has been a Master Barber since 1946. He retired as the director of maximum security at the Utah State Prison in Verda was the American Fork Poultry Days Queen in 1935. She attended BYU and business school and worked at Continental Oil, termountain Theatres and the Miller Theaters. She was a medical and dental receptionist. She is president of the Literary Guild in American Fork. Both have been active in the LDS Church. They are the parents of four children, Mrs. Evan (Carol Ann) Durfey, Richard, David and Colleen. They have 16 grandchildren and two n. Ellen Griffiths to marry Alex Henstrom ; Ellen Griffiths, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Griffiths, of Cameron Park, Calif., will marry Alex Henstrom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H.
