ORDER IN RE: SERVICE BY PUBLICATION Probate No 902400095 JUDI-ClAL IN THE FOURTH DISTRICT COURT OF UTAH COUNTY. STATE OF UTAH In the Matter of the Adop- tion of MELISSA SCHOENFELD, minor child. Based upon the Motion ot the Petitioner and the Affidavit on file In the action and good cause appearing thereforIT IS HEREBY ORDERED thai notice to ROBERT Doug Bybee vs. Ken Cromwell Cromwell got the break he needed for the win on No. 2, a par 5, when Wilson hit his second shot That enabled Cromwell to play it safe and give himself a shot at either an eagle or a birdie. Wilson made a good shot on his second ball and had a good shot at par, but his shot broke wide several inches. After that, Wilson conceded so Cromwell didn't need to putt out. "I was just fortunate," Cromwell said. "I dodged a lot of bullets. But, that's the way it often is in match play." Ron Hitchcock of Springville wasn't able to dodge the bullets like Cromwell did. He took a two-hol- e advantage early in the match, but slowly made enough mistakes to allow Jeff Kinney to grab the lead. Kinney was two-u- p after 15 holes. But Hitchcock made things interesting before Kinney finally recorded a victory. Hitchcock left a putt for birdie just short on No. 16, then settled for par. Kinney made a nice chip shot to escape a sand trap and left himself a five-foputt for par. ot ot However, Kinney's shot jumped over the hole. That cut his lead in half with just two holes to play. On No. 17 both men had long putts for birdie. Hitchcock hit his too hard and the ball slid five feet past the hole. Kinney missed his long putt, too. Both then missed short putts to send the match to No. 18. Kinney closed the match out with a three-foputt for birdie after to play when he fell victim to some luck. His second shot slammed into a post supporting a rope designed to protect the green from carts and ricocheted 20 yards back. "He got a bad break on 17," Cromwell said. "I felt badly for ot Hitchcock's at Wilson had a putt of the Saturday's matches, which begin 8 a.m., feature Taylor vs. Spence Ahrend, Kinney vs. Barnes, Bosen vs. Summerhays and Doug Bybee vs. Cromwell. Cromwell, age 51, is the oldest golfer left in the tournament. He outlasted Greg Slack of Cedar City in the morning, then came back from being n to defeat Wilson. "Hey, I was a dead duck about four times and just tried to hang in there," Cromwell said. "I played some uncharacteristically poor shots and he (Wilson) didn't capitalize."
