Local churches celebrate Christmas There's no shortage of holiday spirit among local congregations this year. On Sunday, Provo Community United Church of Christ will host the Mapleton Chorale at its regular 11 a.m. Sunday worship service. The service is free and open to the public. Then on Sunday night, the church will host its annual Carols by Candlelight service, a popular traditiort now in its third decade. The featured choir at the event will be the American Leadership Academy Chamber Choir, with additional music provided by organist Felipe Dominguez and violinist John Allen Kovalenko.
