Show B4 DAILY Wednesday, November 21, 2007 HERALD Obituaries Thora Charlene Hansen Brown 19, 2C07 January 7, 1928-Novem- Gordon Watson Eatough, 95, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2007 in Orem, Utah. Watson was born on January 13, 1912, in Heber City. Utah, to Gorii don William jpn.,nipu.ii hi Eatough and Ora LaVerna Watson. His father was a pharmacist who moved the f amily often until moving to Kanab, Utah where he ran Kanab Drug. Watson grew up in Kanab then went off to the Branch Agricultural College in Cedar City, Utah from which he graduated in 193;. He then attended the University of Utah where he studied mechanical engineering, graduating in 1938. He played football in Cedar City and was a member of the pistol shooting team at the University of Utah, He was an expert draftsman and always wrote with an India ink drafting pen in a clear and precise hand. He served a mission for the LDS church in upstate New York, following which he married Mary Clare Erickson on June 16. 1941. He worked as an engineer at the Bremerton Navy Yard during World War II and for 25 years at Geneva Steel in Utah Valley.
