OK, not really. The rest of the movie is awesome! The story is fairly bask, but your attachment to its finely drawn characters will go off the charts. Despite game acting by a solid cast most of the jokes are played out well before the movie ends. C OVER THE HEDGE (1 nr. 24 min; PG for some rude humor and mild comic action) Despite have plenty g of the animation that's become the norm in its genre, this adaptation of the syndicated comk strip by Michael Fry and T Lewis doesn't really stick to the ribs. The film is precisely and skillfully crafted, but also overly calculated and conventional. With a strong story and solid performances, film still however, the third stacks up pretty weH alongside its predecessors. B-- f THE DESCENT (1 hr., tense, unusually character-drive- n horror story.
