The public is invited to join the Orem seniors and others from throughout Utah County for Senior Day, beginning at 10 a.m. Along with exhibits of handmade quilts, oil paintings, ceramics and other handicrafts area seniors produced, bands that cater to area senior citizens centers will also perform throughout the day, including the Orem Harmonica Band and Papas Parlor Pickers. Meal registration can be done by telephone and reservations must be received by the previous day. No exceptions will be made. Also Monday, Eldred Center seniors can enjoy entertainment at 11 a.m. by Papa's Parlor Pickers. At 12:15 p.m. as part of the luncheon program, members of the "Dance Factory" will perform. Tuesday afternoon, seniors can get a complete physical or minor at the center's health check-uhealth screening clinic. Appointments can be made through Utah County Senior Citizens Inc. Senior Day at the University Mall in Orem is Saturday, May 25, in conjunction with Older Americans Month. From 10 a.m.-- 6 p.m., senior citizens handicrafts will be on exhibit in the central square between ZCMI and Castleton's. Continuous entertainment will be provided throughout the day. The Eldred Center will be closed Monday, May 27', for Memorial Day.
