For many years this as the Woodland Deer Park w,th a population that generally paraeled tne establishment's name. About five months ago. the Fnends of Life Inc. bought it. Friends of Lite is a Roy Masters organizaton, separate from the radio talk show host's Foundation tor Human Understanding Masters daughter, Diane, is manager of the park. The new owners have spent $25,000 on repairs and remodeling end are transforming the facility into a park-zowith a wide cross section of animal life. The retired animal actors have come to Cave Junction from Steve Martin's Working Wildlife in Acton, Calif., a ranch a tew miles north of Los Angeles that supplies performers for films and TV shows. Damian, a wolf who has played roles in the movie "The Cat People" and other films. Teddy, a Bengal tiger who is a veteran of television commercials for Exxon.
