Show BIG LABOR DAY CELEBRATION AT MAGNAMONDAY I. U. M. M. & S. W. Locals 392, Magna; 485, Bingham; 692, clerical cler-ical workers, and. 1438, 1. B. E. W. at the Central 'Power Station, Magna, are .sponsoring a. Labor Day program at Magna this Monday, Mon-day, September 2nd. The program is for any and all members and their families of the above mentioned men-tioned participating unions. Festivities Fes-tivities will take place at the Magna Community Ball Park, starting at 11 a.m. There will be six different free rides for the kiddies merry-go-round, trains, merry-mix-up, octopus, oc-topus, etc.; Little League and Pony League ball games, and also fc all kinds of races, sports and contests con-tests for men, women and child- V ren with prizes for all contests. Bar-B-Q plate lunches and beer will be served all day at a nominal nom-inal charge. International President Presi-dent John Clark, is expected to address the gathering at about 3:00 p.m. All children of members mem-bers of the participating local unions will be given five free tickets for hit dogs, ice cream, soda water, etc. In the evening there will be a free dance at the Magna Union Hall commencing at 9:00 o'clock. The dance is open to the public. |
