That year $46,000 was raised at the first Festival of Trees to help sick children at Primary Chi- ldren's Medical Center. In 1982, twelve years later, the "Festival" tradition had grown into an enchanted forest of over 240 uniquely decorated trees. In 1982, 1430 sick children were given the care they needed, thanks to the Festival of Trees. Those interested in helping this project should begin now by thinking about decorations for that special tree, or handmade articles that will indirectly go toward making the life of a child happier. It should be made clear at the outset that rape is not a crime of lust, it is a crime of violence. As for hookers "deserving it" more than housewives, secretaries and shop clerks, that is absurd. Nobody deserves it. Yes, a man can be raped by a woman. This has been proven in many law courts across the land. These men were not unconscious at the time. They were artificially stimulated - by the. females. The sex drive emerged victorious over the anxiety and fear. Anyone who has the slightest knowledge of prison life knows that males are raped repeatedly by other males. So if you folks are going to discuss such a subject, you'd better include at least one person who has some knowledge of what goes on in penal institutions. A male subjected to this type of violence need not participate and can, in fact, be unconscious. percent Those who argued oa the affirmative side said if a woman holds a gun to a man's head and demands sex, and he gives in, he is raped. I claim this is psychologically impossible because fear would prevent an erection. What are your opinions? We will be looking for Still Arguing your answers. -- First, how many women ask for it? One special aspect of the Festival of Trees, is that each year many handicapped and underprivileged children and adults are invited to attend. Included, are all nonprofit organizations that care for the handicapped such as the American Fork Training School, Utah State Hospital in Provo, many different work activity centers, and schools for the mentally and physically handicapped. Also invited are daycare centers and schools of underprivileged children. For many these, moments at the Festival of Trees are filled with the only Christmas spirit they will receive.
