Many activities nave been en--i boys and joyed by these girls, including summer camping programs, community and county exhibit days, state fair participation and record book keeping. The annual Juab County Achievement Night was held in the Elementary School auditorium. Othel Pay, president of Advisory Council conducted the . program. Talks were given by'JoAnn Fackrell, Richard Linton, Mrs. Wallace Fackrell, and Juab Commissioner, E. Alton Gadd. Kenneth Nyman, Key Banker, presented four year pins and First Security Bank Awards to: Lynn Stephensen, David Sperry, Jaynette Jones, Mary Louise Taylor, Deanne Worwood, and Colleen Bird. Thirty-fou- r club members received four year completion pins. Medals Given Each year medals are given to members who have done by Juab outstanding work in County. Provo an Pleads Guilty To Forgery Count A plea of guilty to a count of forgery was entered Friday in Fouth District Court by Bob Southwick, 24, 174 E. 3rd S., Provo, The pronouncement of judgment was postponed until Oct. 22 and the case referred to the Adult Probation and Parole Department for study and a re port. William R. Gray, 33, Pleasant Grove, was sentenced to not more than five years in the Utah State Prison on a willful neglect charge. The sentence will be suspended for two weeks and if he has a Job by then it will be continued for 18 months. He was ordered to pay $100 per month for support of his children. Stolen Vehicle Found Afire Near Utah Lake A small bus was reported stolen to the Provo Police Department late Satur day night and a short time later It was found burning near Utah Lake. The 1965 bus was completely gutted by the fire.
