Who called to us?" asked Coppy. "This Is mighty strange to me. I'm sure that I heard some one say, "Hollo," there,"butthey've gone away. At least I've looked around bad," said Scouty. Then the tall. thin man" replied, "Oh, that's all right In seeking him, long hours I've spent He sure deserves some punishment He jumped off of my circus train, and stayed away, all night" , . . . - "A circus train? Oh, mercy me! Why I'm as thrilled as I can be," cried Clowny as he shook the circus trainer by the hand. "We'll promise we'll do nothing wrong if you will let us go along. We'd love to join your circus and go traveling 'cross the land." "Well, that is quite all right with me, but first we'll. set my tiger free," exclaimed the friendly circus nd man.-"Athen we'll join the show." They cut the rope that held the beast The moment that he was released he scampered down the hillside. ' Scouty Bhouted, "See him go!" and not a person can I see." ' The wooden man then said, "Why rfuss? I think that someone's fooling Us.: Perhaps some 'hunters want to shoot the tiger that we've tied." The voice rang out again, real clear, "Oh, no, I don't, so have no fear." And when the. whole hunch looked again, a tall, thin man was spied.. He ran right up and joined the .bunchy ancLpromptly said, "I have a hunch that I should thank you Tinies for a favor you have done. That tiger, tied up to that tree, Is tame, and he belongs to me.
