Park, which occurred August 1, his 'children and grandchildren entertained at the Park home Tuesday evening. An elaborate dinner was served, covers being laid for 30. Centering the dining table was a huge pink and white birthday cake, holding 78 lighted candles. Summer flowers were used In the decorative scheme. the dinner, Following games and music were enjoyable feturea tltune,at. dur J ing which original poems written by Mrs. J. F.,Thurgood and Mrs. Ralph- - W'lson,- - daughters of the guest of honor, were read by their sister, Mrs. George Myers. . Present were Mr. and Mrs. Park and the following sons and daughters and their families Mr., and Mrs. Don Park,-M- rs Jennie Scott and daughter, Bonnie Jean, Mr. and Mrs. John Thurgood and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. George Myers and family, Mr. - - Mr.-anMrs. Frank X Earl entertained the members of theJuill end Scroll chapter of the Provo high school at their home, on Third West Tuesday evening. Reports of summer activities were given by the officers of the society and plans for the coming year laid. A delicous waffle supper was served to Mr. and Mrs. E. R.
