J. Robi.on and daughter, Jean and LaDean, were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mr. Frank Ott of Salt Lake City. Visitors Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mr. Vincent Miola were Mrs. Bob Cochran and Mr. Ceorge Markovich. Helping Madeleine Sanchez of Bingham celebrate her 18th birth-da- y Wednesday eveuing were Shir- - Mrs. Don Stoddart, Mrs. Ronald Huntsman and son, Kirk, and Mrs. Ruth Hudson spent Monday after-noon visiting Mrs. Don Stoddart Jr. and children, Richard, Kathleen and infant son at Kearns. Wednesday evening visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeCol and family were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Walker and children, Sheila, Jeanine and Jeff of Gran-ger. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Robison and daughters, Jean and LaDean, were dinner guests Thanksgiving at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kim Goff and children, Leslie and Roger, of Magna. Enjoying the debate tournament at the University of Utah Wednes-day from Copperton were Shirley Johnson, Nikkie Jimas and Kathy Simkins. Other students attending were Diane Zorn and Teddy Ches-ter of Bingham. They were under the direction of Miss Peggy Turner. Visitors Thanksgiving evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Miola and family were Mrs. Irene Kekoutis and family and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Rek outis and daughter, Kathy. Mrs. Rosella H. Peay of Span-ish Fork has been visiting this week with Mr. and Mrs. George Abplan-al- p and family. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Christensen visited Mr. Christenaen's brother, 3. H. Christensen who is confined in the Salt Lake General Hospital. Week end guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Larsen was Burnett Bagley of San Francisco, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Wright visited with Mr, and Mrs. Ruel Adams of Pleasant Grove. They were also dinner guests later that day of Mr. and Mrs. Ross West of Pleasant Grove. Girls participating in the Senior League of the M.I.A. Volleyball program are as follows: Mrs. Dean Malan and Shirley Johnson, direc-tors: Linda Abolanalo. Patricia Curtis, Linda Brisk, Bonnie Marker, Miss Johnson, Janice Nix, Edith DeCol, Shirley Smith, Peggy Blake, Nancy Crellin, Linda ' Long, Linda Smernoff, Kathy Poulsen, Linda Garrett and Susan Boulton are the players. This team took the sports-manship trophy in Softball and are now working very hard to take the championship trophy in volleyball of the West Jordan Stake. They will begin playing on January 8th at the South Jordan School, Every-one in the ward is invited to at-tend these games and support the team. Elwin Abplanalp of Vernal has been staying with Mr. and Mrs. George Abplanalp and family. Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Angus Christensen visited in Salt Lake City with Mr.' and Mrs. George Nix, formerly of Copperton. Mr. and Mrs. George Dahlstrom had as Thanksgiving dinner guests Mrs. Dahlstrom's father and bro-thers and their families, August Lehman and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lehman and family of Granger and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Lehman and family of Holladay. ley Johnson and Patricia Curtis of Copperton, Lois Fahrni, and Nancy Nealley of Lark, Janet Workman of South Jordan and Sylvia Lukich of Bingham. A delightful time was had by all. Willy Abplanalp left Sunday morning by plane for Fort Ord, Calif., where he will take training for the military police of the Na-tional Guard. Leaving with him were Frank English, Leslie Nichols and Manual Lopez of Lark. Miss Beverly Wright of Salt Lake City spent Thanksgiving with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Wright and son, Don. Mrs. Ronald Huntsman enter-tained Friday, Nov. 28, at a birth-day party in honor of her son Kirk on his first birthday. Balloons, paper hats, and noisemakers along with cake and ice cream were en-joyed by Mr. and Mrs. Cat Hunts-man, Cal Huntsman Jr., Tera and Todd Deakin, Mrs. Mildred Dun-ya- n, Mr. and Mrs. Don Stoddart and Jimmy. O s V f V-- STUDY GUILD CHRISTMAS PROGRAM THIS MONDAY Christmas program of the Cop-perto- Study Guild will bo held Monday evening, December 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Amy Snow with Mrs. Vonda Swain as cohostess according to Mrs. Lila Dahlstrom, program chairman. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sacos of Midvale will give the program for the even-ing. All members are invited to come out. Members are reminded the meeting starts promptly at 7:30. Thanksgiving dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Verio Kendrick and family were Mr. and Mis. Ross M. Cushing and Mr. and Mrs. J, L. Murano and daughter, JoAnn. Mr. and Mrs. Verio Kendrick entertained their 500 club at their home last Saturday evening. Monday, December 1, Pro-fessor Anson Call of Utah State University Department of Entomology will give val-uable information on keeping Utah farms and homes free of pests during the winter. On Friday, December 5, C. W. Dawson, a prominent Utah County fruit grower, will talk about crop storage for Utah farmers. Monday, December 22, the advances made in low cost feed for poultry, will be dis-cussed. This program is sup-ported by a grant from Ken-neco- tt in Utah. Christmas Eve Wednes-day, December 24 the Bing-ham High School will present their annual Candle Light Service.
