In all probability no railroad in the United States ever carried a single passenger that represented a greater cash value than does Rapresentative Whitaker. All honor to Democratic enterprise ! , There are several springs at the foot of the bench on Sixth Street, which might prove of value to the people in that vicinity ,if their source were not choked aud their course impeded by rubbish. Some enthusiastic admirers of O'Leary were, on Wednesday, offering even bets that that individual would win the walking match. Strange to state, they wouldn't put a, nickel against five dollars now. The Ogden public will find occasion for regret in the fact that no theatrical performance will be given this evening. A splendid bill was offered, the prices were reduced, and tickets sold very rapidly. Every body expected to find enjoyment; but through some misunderstanding with regard to the costumes, the management found it necessary to postpone the performance for one week. In the meantime everything possible will be done to improve upon the original programme, and to perfect arrangements; so that all who have already purchased tickets or may hereafter secure the same, will certainly be completely satisfied. The Murder Case. The case of Joseph S. Dudley, for the murder of Henry Wad-man- , was called Wednesday in the Third District Court, but for pressing reasons was continued for the term. The new term begins on the Fourteenth day of April, and Dudley's case will then probably be among the first to receive attention. ?iot Symptoms, bnt the Disease.
