Maiin Leave on Honeymoon Trip to Coast Wide Interest Over four hundred guests were present Monday afternoon- at the Second 'ward hall when the board members of the Daughters of the Pioneers gave an Interesting program,1 consistingcom-of songs and instrumental numbers bined with readings and a play. Not only Ogden guests were present, but several from Salt Lake.! Carrying out the decorative scenic effect of the Indian play,' "Wash-enenawritten by Miss Caroline Parry, the stage was adorned with eight' pine trees," cleverly arranged, with a picturesque wigwam occupying on side and a camp fire in the center. The play was well presented. Miss Vera Delamater held the leading role, supported by Frank Douglas and Pauline Malan Evans. Mrs. Bertha Wheelwright Wynn gave the introduction. Musical selections typical of the Indian spirit were played by the string trio, Doris Proudf it, Ruth Pingree and Marva McBride. In connection with the ,play a sketch. "The Indian," was given by Mrs. E. A. , Larkln. Indian lullabies and songs were sung by Mrs. John Culley and Mrs. Bernlce Tyree. Miss Mather Allen and Mrs. Melba Read Jones each sang two Indian songs. Those taking part In the program were fittingly dressed in Indian costumes, quaintly beaded, with various designs. :";v, Those in charge were Miss Rachael Middleton, Mrs. Leona McGregor, Mrs.1 E. A.
