Bull dogged determination coupled with the fancy twirling of "Handsome Cy" Morgan aided the Brigham Peaches in trouncing the Tremonton Bears at Brigham Monday afternoon in the final contest of the western "world's serious." Although the seven run lead ob- tained in the first three frames appeared as big as the rock of Gibral-ta- r the Peaches started their bombardment and were never headed once they were started. Brigham entered the home stretch with a 10 to 8 score. The contest was replete with heavy hitting, both teams pounding the opposing twirlers hard. Tommy Fitzpatrick 's hired men jumped away to an .early lead scoring three counters in the first, one in the second and three more scores in the third canto. Such a lead appeared to be a winner in the early innings. In fact some of the fans even departed from the ball orchard thinking that the contest had been captured by the Bears.
