Weber county thirty-si- x car loads of applet shipped carand twenty-fiv- e loads of peaches during: 1920. according to figures contained in a report furnished by Miner M. Justin; statistician for the department of affrjcul- -' fure. Box Elder county made a good showing in the shipment of apples, loading 146 of the 539 carloads of and seventy-eigof the 380 of peaches, Weber county ship-pe- d thirty-fiv- e carloads pf apples and Em-- t twenty-fiv- e carloads of peaches. carloads ry county shipped thirty-si- x or apples and Cache county shipped thirty-thre- e carloads of apples. Emery and Grand counties each shipped eight carloads of pears and Box Elder county shipped one carload' of pears. The shipments of peaches has va- -, ried in the different counties during the last four years. Utah led the other , counties in 1917, 1919 and 1920, but In 1918 the lead was taken by Box Elder county. The shipment of the four years reportpeaches during ed was: Utah county, 350 carloads in 1917, 104 In 1918, 344 in 1919 and 238 in 1920; "Box Elder county, 299 carloads in 1917, 169 in 1918, 312 in 1919 and 78 in 1920;. Weber county, 145 carloads in 1917, 33 in 1918, 231 in 1919 and 25 in 1920. The few re' maining shipments were from Salt L,ake and Juab counties. Apple shipments have" increased rapidly, especially from Utah and Box Elder counties. Emery county shipcarloads of. apples last ped thirty-si- x year and none in any of the three preceding years. The shipment of apples from the state was 214 carloads in 1917, 168 in 1918, 116 in 1919 and 539 in 1920. Shipments of potatoes has increased, although to no marked degree. Practically half of the ..potatoes sent out from this state had their. origin in Weber county.
