Keniff Wright, of Company K., Fifth Infantry, was killed yesterday morning. He had been on duty at the Custom House, and with a companion started to the lake shore to wash. In returning they found u train cf cars on the track at the foot of Madison street, and Wright stooped uown to crawl under a box car to the opposite side; while beneath the cars the locomotive attached to them commenced moving, and the wheels caught the unfortunate soldier and erushed him so that he died in a few minutes. He was about 38 years of age, and has a sister who lives near Quincy, Illinois. The old Tremont House is to be rebuilt with a frontage of 100 ft. on Dearborn street, aud 180 ft, on Luke street.
