The little house known as the City Hall Is altogether too insignificant a place for the transaction of public business; and an important and growing city, like Ogdou, should have un edifice of dimensions and appearance suitable to its O. City and County taxes will be much more cheerfully paid if expended on a handsome, spacious hall, built where it can bo teen by the public, than if thrown away on a little, undersized cabin, surrounded by common domiciles. 'A suitable spot might be found on the brow of the "Bench," overlooking the town and the principal part of the county. There is unoccupied ground a little "flistdneo south east ot tue present City Hall, which is of easy access, and at the same time offers an eminence which would give the proposed building as elevated a position as could be desired. We need publio gardeus and pluasurp .grounds, gymnasiums, bath houses and playgrounds.
