Holy Cross presents plaques honoring first patients In an effort to promote the Jordan Valley Holy Cross Hospital's pledge of "Neighbor taking care of neighbor," Paul hospital administrator Hinchey presented two plaques honoring the first patient and the first baby born at the ten month old facility. The inscribed plaques have been placed in front of specific trees chosen to commemorate the hospital's entry into the southwest part of the valley. Eighteen month old Milly Marshall of Riverton was on hand last Tuesday with her parents to pick her own special tree. At nine months of age Milly was the first patient treated at the hospital when it first opened last September. According to Hinchey, over 15,000 patients have been treated by hospital medical personnel since it opened and over 86,000 tests have been performed. new physicians have been addjd to the hospital staff in the past few months.
