Riverton Town Days notes contest winners "Riverton, Home of Peace, Progress and Tradition" was chosen out of many entries to be the town motto and will be placed on the Riverton City flag. The winner is Alicia Rawlings, a sixth grader at Oquirrh Hills Middle School. She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Brian Rawlings. The parade and Town Days theme this year is "Land of the Free" and the essay winner is Allen Adair, a sixth grader at Oquirrh Hills Middle School. Utah Power and Light opens new Draper office When Utah Power & Light Co. dedicates its new South Valley District Office here June 29, it will mark another step toward the company's goal of bringing "small town service" to the burgeoning Salt Lake Valley.
