Show THE SENTINEL Section 2 Five Sentinel area high school basketball teams will be entered state and in the boys underthat get championships Tuesday morning Region Six Jordan, West, Judge, and Murray drew lots to determine the position each would enter state. Jordan got the toughest draw, sending them into 4-- A 3-- A way on Monday. The tourney will be held 3-- A at Weber State College's Dee Events Center and the tourney at the University of Utah's Special Events Center. State play runs through Saturday. 6:30 p.m. game Monday's against top rated Provo, the league champ from Region 4-- A Seven. Brighton, the number two team, Monday through Thursday-afternoo- n session, 2:30 and 4:10 p.m.; evening session, 6:30 and 8:10p.m. Friday- - early session, 11:50 a.m., 1:20 and 3:10 p.m.; late session, 5 : 30, 7 : 10, and 8 : 50 p.m . Saturday- - afternoon session, 2 and 3:40 p.m. ; evening session, 6 (consolation finals), and 8 p.m. (championship finals). Jordan, which had been all alone at the top of Region Six, ended up in a four way tie for first with West, Judge, and Murray with losses to West in overtime to Murray Tuesday and 72-6- 6 tilt 64-5- r 50-4-9 fr 59-5-0 Friday. The Hillcrest-Brighto-n contest was tied at the end of the first period, but Hillcrest moved in front to stay in the second which ended at Hillcrest's Marty Haws led all scorers with 23 points while teammates Reed Porter and Dave Adams added 18 and nine respectively and Mark Olsen had 12 rebounds. For Brighton, Brett Miller had 19 points and Steve Schreiner 11. A pair of by Hillcrest's Haws and an Alta traveling call turned things the Huskies' way in the final 21 seconds of that showdown. The two teams were tied at 11 after the first quarter, but Hillcrest led 1 after the second and after the third. The score was knotted at when Haws stepped up to the line.
