Richard Lynn Bolton, Salt Lake City, took as his bride Felice Lynett Garrett, Herriman, in a . . double ring ceremony at the White House Reception Center in the Gold Room on Thursday, Feb. 10, 1983. Arvid Bowles, bishop of the Herriman First ward, performed the marriage. A reception, given by the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs Steven W. Snyder, was also held at the White House that evening. A wedding luncheon was given by the groom's mother at her home. President Morris Bennion presided and Eugene Rich, vice president conducted. Guest of honor in attendance for the evening was D. Wayne Mallet, national vice president of the Sons of the Utah Pioneers. was given to enrollment, restoration of pioneer monuments, and uniforms. Plans of a trek for the coming summer to the Black Hills of South Dakota was presented for consideration. The life and history of Robert Dansie was given by Elvoy Dansie, a decendant. Robert Dansie was born Feb. 5, 1825, in Boxford, Suffolk County, England. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1862. The trip across the Atlantic Ocean by sail boat was forty-tw- o days. He finally settled in Herriman. He homesteaded a sizable tract of land in the Herri-ma- n area, which lent itself to a thriving sheep, lamb and wool industry. The evening was climaxed with a very entertaining half hour musical program from the Taylorsville High School music department. The group of sixteen singers was under the able direction of Norman Wendell. The meeting of Mar. 10 will be ft r Martha Lynett V Snyder, National Guard and is presently employed at Larry H. West, on Sunday, Feb. 6 20, 1983 from p.m. at the Bluffdale Ward House, 1700 W. 14400 S.,Bluffdale. Albert Jesse West was born Feb. 22, 1890 in Salt Lake City to 4 1 Flower girl was Rebecca Snyder and ring bearer was Paul Alma and Mary Asladelida West. The family moved to Bluffdale about 1898. Jesse married Marion Winter Feb. 16, 1916 in the Salt Lake Temple; I) she died Dec. 20, 1981. They had one son, Jesse Alma, who has since died. He has four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Jesse filled a mission to Tonga . He's been active from in church work and has served in two different bishoprics. Jesse worked on the construction of the old Bluffdale school and later helped remodel that school to become the old Bluffdale ward chapel. He worked on the construction of the Hoover dam; he worked as a carpenter for Kennecott Copper Corp. for over 21 years and retired from there in 1958. Venola W. Farnsworth She has raised 16 children and has 75 grandchildren, 150 great grandchildren, and 3 great-gregrandchildren. With quilting as her hobby, she has completed over 300 quilts. She has been an active member of the LDS church and served as Relief Society president at the at Snyder. Best man was Layne Bolton. The ushers were Eric and Chuck Garrett, Glenn Rackley and Ghassan Aleiwe. Amanda Bolton was at the guest book. Also greeting guests at the reception were the grandparents 4 r,T roster. National president-elec- Glen t, Greenwood, announced the fiftieth anniversary celebration for the SUP which will be held June 4. A Sweethearts Ball will be held for all the adults in the Sandy tenth ward on Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. A prime rib dinner will be served.
